M&S strategy

Identify key markets (segment/geography…) and associated Oktal Sydac products. Assess Oktal Sydac potential on these markets.

Promote Oktal Sydac brand and products on target markets within defined and monitored budget. This includes but is not limited to event organisation/attending, digital communication…

Liaise with customers, government bodies and external R&D to anticipate market trends




Sales strategy

Within the agreed market segments identify potential business opportunities and their ‘value’

Define and actively pursue sales actions such as directly engaging with customers or partners

Identify the market target price and associated acceptable deal quality elements (payment terms etc.)




Competition assessment

Regularly assess competition (new comers, positioning, market capture, technical roadmap)

Map our customers and competition and position Oktal Sydac

Regularly perform a SWOT analysis of our company and competitors




Sales performance

Create and manage customer and partner engagement

Report elements allowing to assess and prioritise business leads (Business need, Stakes, Budget, Timeframe, Decision makers, Competition)

Lead bid delivery to customers ensuring cost, risk, exposure etc. are properly assessed to achieve commercial and profit outcomes. This implies to liaise with relevant technical support. Ensure that bid management process, workload, key stakeholders contribution to proposals, and target deadlines are managed effectively

Support or lead final negotiations with customers

Capture your activity regularly within the company CRM tools




Management

Ensure order intake targets achievement and expenses control

Contribute to Oktal Sydac worldwide business transversal topics. Ensure regular communication and activity reporting.

Ensure proper project transfer to operations is done. This may include clarification on project negotiations, assistance with project variations and ongoing customer liaison.

Ensure regular internal communication on your assigned topics to ensure other teams market acumen and provide clear direction on key account management expectations to ensure that customer relationships are positively maintained, and future business opportunities identified.

Develop and nurture professional business relationships and partnerships through meeting with major customers, industry associations and government bodies. This includes but is not limited to organising and/or attending industry events, conferences and user clubs

Profil recherché : Profile

Formal qualifications in business, marketing or equivalent (essential)

Project Management (desirable)



Experience:

6 to 10 years of experiences

Technical sales and business development experience in local and international markets;

Business to business sales experience in transport simulation, IT or software development is desirable;

Strong commercial acumen and a proven track record delivering profitable business outcomes;

Hands on experience in the planning and preparation of technical project tender submissions;

Experience in networking and building relationships with corporate business and government.

Strong negotiation and influencing skills in technical tender/project processes;

High level technical knowledge. Able to quickly understand the relevance of emerging or alternative technologies, and confidently relay information to non-technical clients in concise and plain language.

Professional Competencies:

Excellent verbal and written English and local language skills

High level use of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

Working knowledge of Salesforce or alternative CRM tool

High level presentation skills; able to tailor presentations to represent target client needs



Other:

Technical understanding of road and rail simulators would be advantageous

Local and/or international travel is required
