Description of the mission : Altitude Aerospace is looking for a Structure stress engineer who would like to join a dynamic, flexible and fast-growing company in Montreal. As part of his duties, the Structure stress engineer will provide support for aircraft development and/or modification projects:
Mains duties includes:
• Provide support to the stress team in projects management ;
• Understand stress requirements and ensure that the technical scope is well respected according to the needs of the customer and the requirements of the manufacturers;
• Perform static stress, fatigue and/or damage tolerance analyzes for the certification of aircraft structures;
• Prepare, review and validate stress notes and other required stress deliverables as well as engineering drawing;
• Prepare certification reports, test plans and installation drawings;
• Participate in the development or improvement of our stress methodologies;
Qualifications and experience required :
• Bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering
• Minimum of 5 years experience in stress on metal and/or composite structures
• In-depth knowledge of stress analyzes in static, fatigue
• Experience in damage tolerance is an asset
• Familiar with Transport Canada regulations
• Good knowledge of Patran/Nastran and Catia V5
• Fluency in French and English (verbal and written)
